My previous post explored the minds of third graders as they contemplated food chains… I now bring you even more hilarious letters written from the perspectives of predators and their prey, courtesy of my fellow third grade teacher Robin and her clever students (who are way funnier than mine).

Please don’t eat me. No, you’re my enemy, I will eat you! Please, if you don’t eat me I will tell the staff to give you extra meat. Ok. Thank you.

I will not come. Because you are going to eat me. Do not eat me. Please.

I heard your letter and that makes me crazy. So do not write that letter again. And do not eat us, eat others like cows.
