As the Good Book says, if you spit in the air, it lands in your face.

I’ve just added a batch of pictures from our high school’s production of Fiddler on the Roof, which was performed this weekend (and quite fantastically, I might add). I had a wonderful few months working with the students, doing hair and makeup design, and cutting more fabric for costumes than I care to remember. You can see all the pictures here.

I’ll Let You Eat My Friends Part 2

My previous post explored the minds of third graders as they contemplated food chains… I now bring you even more hilarious letters written from the perspectives of predators and their prey, courtesy of my fellow third grade teacher Robin and her clever students (who are way funnier than mine).

I’ll Let You Eat My Friends

As a part of our science unit on food chains, I had my third graders write letters from the perspectives of predators and their prey. The results (as usual) were amusing, clever, and brutally honest.

Only the misspellings have been fixed for ease of reading. The rest is 100% kid.
