The Traveling Teacher Bucket List Series highlights meaningful places across the United States and around the world that every educator should experience at least once. Each destination is explored through the lens of teaching, learning, and leadership, connecting history, culture, and place directly to classroom practice.
This series blends both lived experience and aspiration. Some of the places featured are locations I have personally visited and reflected on, while others remain part of my own ongoing list of destinations I am intentionally working toward as I continue to grow as an educator, leader, and traveler. Together, they represent a broader journey of learning through place.
This series is not travel content for its own sake. It is a reflection on how place shapes perspective, deepens understanding, and ultimately strengthens the way educators serve students.
Each feature includes a short reflection, a classroom connection, and a personal takeaway designed to help educators see travel as an extension of their professional growth.
The first installment of The Traveling Teacher Bucket List Series launches on June 30, following the debut of The Traveling Teacher Podcast.
