These are some of the fellowships I have attended in the past five years. Each one of these fellowships has provided valuable opportunities to learn, collaborate, share best practices, and stay current with the latest trends in education. I'm already making a list for next year.
This summer, I am honored to participate in a Fund for Teachers fellowship in Greece, where I will explore history, culture, and educational connections that will enrich my classroom and inspire my students. I will be departing on June 19, and you can follow my journey here, as well as on The Traveling Teacher on Facebook and Instagram.

I had the honor of participating in the University of Pittsburgh European Studies Center Language Immersion Fellowship, which gave me the opportunity to travel to Italy and fully immerse myself in the language and culture. Through this fellowship, I traveled throughout Tuscany and enrolled in Italian language classes, gaining experiences that deepened both my personal and professional growth. My time there—as it is every time I return to Italy—not only changed the way I experience life, but has added incomparable value to it.
Although this fellowship is not currently being offered due to government funding reductions, we hope a future administration will reconsider supporting this wonderful opportunity for educators. In the meantime, I encourage you to visit the University of Pittsburgh European Studies Center website to explore other programs and opportunities available to educators.

During my first Fund for Teachers fellowship I explored the connection between cultural heritage, environmental conservation, and education. My experience in dual language, inspired me to examine how Iceland integrates sustainability and cultural preservation into everyday life. While in Iceland I also studied environmental issues and sustainable development through visits to museums, geothermal sites, and cultural landmarks.
